How To Build A Shuffleboard Table

Seminar Announcement:

pest control in apple orchards
through holistic methods

Seminar for Friday, 16.10. To 16:00 to Sunday, 10/18/2009 13:00 on the Neuhollandhof, Wesel

Fruit pests such as the codling moth occur more in organic orchards. Often, the direct control of these pests is not the desired goal. Besides their direct control and indirect measures of containment by encouraging beneficial insects (eg hedges), integration of small animals into the orchard and landscaping are being sought.

In Demeter Fruit Neuhollandhof operation for some time to run tests on this issue. This variety of methodological approaches chosen by the scientific and researched using the granulose virus to design measures in the plant itself. In a small pilot plant also various antidepressants tested.

In the seminar, the tests and first results are presented.
Different areas of the apple orchard are examined for their efforts towards the constitution. Here, the impact of hedges, soil management, animals, etc. is viewed. This is done firstly by a Goethean landscape viewing, on the other hand, using the newer method of formative forces immediate investigation by D. Schmidt.
addition, this year's apple harvest is tested for quality differentiation heard by the participants. Here too next to the sensor, the formative forces methodology is used.
